Terms of Service
These Terms govern business and professional use of Slotvine.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Slotvine, a browser-based scheduling service operated by Daniel Kirwan, trading as TurtleFrameLabs ("Slotvine", "we", "us" or "our").
18 West Holme, Erith, Kent, DA8 3NS, United Kingdomsupport@slotvine.app
By creating an account, joining a workspace, buying a subscription or using Slotvine, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of this page, explains how personal information is handled and forms part of these Terms.
2. Business use and eligibility
Slotvine is offered to businesses and professionals, not for personal or household use. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you use Slotvine for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for invited members, suitable permissions and removing access when a person's role changes.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep it current, complete email verification and protect your credentials. You are responsible for account activity except to the extent caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable security.
Use a unique password, enable authenticator-app MFA where available and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. The service
Slotvine lets users configure availability and event types, publish booking links, manage teams and bookings, connect calendars, create calendar events and meeting links, send service notifications, and optionally arrange paid event types through Stripe.
Slotvine is software. We are not the employer or representative of a booking host, a calendar or meeting provider, a bank or payment institution, or a party to an appointment or service agreed between a host and invitee.
We may improve or change features and will give reasonable notice of a material adverse change where practicable.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit and process it only as needed to operate, secure and support Slotvine and comply with law.
You are responsible for event descriptions, prices, availability, meeting details, booking links, connected-account authority, invitee notices and permissions, the services offered to invitees, attendance, cancellations, manually supplied links, taxes, invoicing and rules applying to your business.
Appointments are agreements between hosts and invitees. We do not guarantee attendance or the quality of a host's service.
6. Calendar and meeting integrations
When you connect a provider, you authorise Slotvine to request the displayed permissions and perform actions you select, including conflict checks and creating, updating or deleting events and meeting links.
A seven-day Pause connection option may retain protected tokens without using them, solely to make reconnection easier. Disconnect permanently removes stored credentials and requests provider revocation where supported. You may also revoke access through the provider.
Provider services can change or become unavailable. We do not guarantee that Google Calendar, Google Meet, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Zoom or another integration will always be available or error-free. Check important events and meeting details before relying on them.
7. Plans and subscription changes
Slotvine may offer Free, Small, Team or other plans. The Free plan currently permits up to five bookings per month and is subject to displayed limits. Paid features, limits and prices are shown before purchase.
Prices are charged in the currency shown at checkout and exclude VAT or similar taxes unless stated otherwise. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe may calculate a prorated charge or credit. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid period. The effect of a change will be shown before confirmation.
We may change prices with at least 60 days' notice. A change applies from a later renewal date stated in the notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
8. Billing and automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to charge the selected payment method at purchase and renewal, including applicable taxes.
If payment fails, we may notify you and allow two days to resolve it. Stripe may retry the charge. We may restrict paid features, suspend the workspace or cancel the subscription if payment remains overdue.
Stripe processes payments under its own terms and privacy notice. Slotvine does not store full card details.
9. Cancelling a subscription
The workspace owner may cancel through the billing controls. Unless section 10 applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Paid features remain available until then, after which the workspace moves to the applicable free or restricted state.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete the account or its information.
10. Fourteen-day refund policy
The workspace owner may cancel the workspace's first paid Slotvine subscription within 14 calendar days after it begins and request a refund of the initial subscription charge.
- The policy applies once to the first paid subscription for that workspace.
- It does not restart on renewal, upgrade, downgrade or a later purchase.
- It does not apply to payments between a booking host and invitee.
- After an approved refund, paid access ends at the end of the fourteenth calendar day after the first paid subscription began.
We initiate an approved refund to the original payment method through Stripe. Stripe and the relevant bank control when it appears. Unless law requires otherwise, we cannot send it to another payment method.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Slotvine is currently offered for business use.
11. Paid event types and Stripe Connect
A host may connect its own Stripe account for paid event types. The host, not Slotvine, is the seller and is responsible for prices, currency, taxes, cancellation/refund terms, fulfilment, complaints, disputes, chargebacks, fraud and maintaining an eligible Stripe account.
Stripe may charge its own fees. Slotvine does not currently charge a separate platform fee on paid bookings and will give notice before introducing one.
We may assist with technical payment status and request a refund when payment completes but a booking cannot be confirmed. This does not make Slotvine the seller or guarantor.
12. Acceptable use
You must not use Slotvine for unlawful activity, spam, harassment, threats, deception, impersonation, malicious code, security attacks, unauthorised automation or scraping, credential or token misuse, unnecessary sensitive-data collection, infringement of rights, or unauthorised resale, copying or reverse engineering.
We may investigate suspected abuse and take proportionate action, including limiting or suspending access.
13. Availability, maintenance and support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security work, internet failures and third-party providers may affect Slotvine. Preview features may change or be withdrawn.
Support is available at support@slotvine.app. We aim to respond within 48 UK business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays in England and Wales. This is a target, not a guaranteed service level unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
14. Suspension, closure and data
You may ask to close an account or workspace. Before closure, export information you need and deal with future bookings and attendees.
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, overdue payment, provider restrictions or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
On closure, access and integrations end, OAuth credentials are revoked where supported and deleted promptly, and future bookings remain the host's responsibility. Information is deleted or retained under the Privacy Policy.
15. Intellectual property and feedback
Slotvine software, design, documentation and branding belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for internal business purposes while the account is active.
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly without permission.
16. Disclaimers
Slotvine is provided with reasonable skill and care. Subject to rights that cannot be excluded, we do not warrant uninterrupted service, delivery of every email, perfect calendar synchronisation, detection of every conflict, or continued availability of third-party services.
You are responsible for checking important bookings, events, meeting links, payment status and attendee communications. Slotvine is not legal, tax, financial or professional advice.
17. Liability
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, deliberate misconduct, or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that paragraph, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, or losses caused by an invitee, host, connected account or third-party service.
Subject to the exclusions above, our total aggregate liability is limited to the Slotvine subscription fees paid by the affected workspace in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If no subscription fees were paid in that period, the contractual cap is zero, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Confidentiality
Each party must use reasonable care to protect the other's non-public business information and use it only for the service or another agreed purpose. This does not cover information already lawfully known, independently developed, publicly available without breach, or required to be disclosed by law.
19. Third-party services
Third-party products have their own terms and privacy notices. You are responsible for terms applying to connected accounts, including Google, Microsoft and Stripe. We are not responsible for third-party products outside our reasonable control.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider or product reasons. We will publish the new version and effective date and normally give at least 30 days' notice of a material change where practicable. If you disagree, stop using the service and cancel before the change takes effect.
21. General
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without written consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganisation, financing or sale where mandatory rights are preserved.
Delay in enforcement is not a waiver. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. These Terms and incorporated documents are the entire agreement about Slotvine. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
22. Governing law and courts
These Terms and related non-contractual disputes are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Contact, complaints and notices
Send support requests, complaints, refund requests and legal notices to support@slotvine.app or Daniel Kirwan, trading as TurtleFrameLabs, 18 West Holme, Erith, Kent, DA8 3NS, United Kingdom.
We may send notices to the email address associated with your account or display them in Slotvine. Keep your account email current.
